MASTERMINE at JRC/HaDEA 2023 workshop: Channeling knowledge to RMIS

By Stavroula Panagiotidou (STRATAGEM LTD)

Representatives from the MASTERMINE project were cordially invited to participate in the immersive 2-day technical workshop, orchestrated by JRC / HaDEA. The event, themed " Channeling knowledge from European projects into the Raw Materials Information System (RMIS)" unfolded on November 23rd and 24th, 2023, focusing profoundly on critical, strategic, and advanced materials.

This 2023 edition of the RMIS workshop brings together key stakeholders and contributors to help identify the most relevant raw materials knowledge outputs from EU funded projects that can factually support this transition, as well as to facilitate the integration of such outputs into the RMIS, towards increasing their visibility and relevance for policy and community support. Considering the above focus areas, participants discussed:

  • How to facilitate technical dialogue (both IT and content-wise) for efficient knowledge transfer (day 1).

  • How to increase awareness of project outputs and how best these can support identified policy priorities through RMIS (day 1).

  • How knowledge developed by the EC and its knowledge network support the strengthening of the underlying raw materials knowledge (day 2).

For comprehensive details, delve into the official RMIS – Raw Materials Information System dedicated page.
