MASTERMINE project now accessible through Raw Materials Information System (RMIS)

By Stavroula Panagiotidou (STRATAGEM LTD)

The MASTERMINE project is now available on the Raw Materials Information System (RMIS), the European Commission's primary web-based knowledge platform covering non-fuel and non-agricultural raw materials. This platform spans from primary (extracted/harvested) to secondary (recycled/recovered) sources and includes the entire value and supply chains for these materials. RMIS plays a crucial role in supporting the European Union Raw Materials Knowledge Base (EURMKB) and is the central gateway to a wealth of knowledge, serving as an interface for policy guidance.

Among the specialised sections of the RMIS platform, the "EU funded projects" section stands out as a pivotal component. It serves as an access point to consolidated knowledge about raw materials sourced from various European projects. The MASTERMINE portfolio was officially introduced to the “EU funded projects” section in October 2023 and can be accessed through this link. When visiting the MASTERMINE portfolio, visitors will easily identify the project through its visual logo and can explore the project's dedicated webpage. Additionally, visitors have the opportunity to navigate through thematic sections like "Overview," "Raw Materials Knowledge," "Research and Innovation," and "Links and Contacts," where relevant details are presented in-depth.
